As part of your club membership, coaching is available for all junior members on a THURSDAY afternoon in terms 1 and 4.

This is an optional extra offered by our coaches

A progressive tennis coaching program has been developed for players from the age of 3 to adults.
All aspects of the game are covered in a fun and engaging way including scoring, tactical and technical skills.

* 8 week course run during all four school terms.
* 1 hour coaching session per week.
* only 6 kids per coach for better individual tuition.

acesports coaching

Tennis Hot Shots is the national starter tennis program for children.
Smaller courts, shorter racquets and softer balls mean that kids can play a proper game of tennis from the moment they step onto the court.

The Blue Stage (age 3-5)
Introduces children to tennis through games and fun activities. Children learn the basics of tennis.

The Red Stage (age 5-8)
The courts and nets used in the Red stage are much smaller making it easier for kids to move around and enjoy success.

The Orange Stage (age 8-10)
After mastering the Red stage, children move on to the Orange stage where the ball bounces a little higher (50% compression) and the court is a bit bigger.

The Green Stage (age 9 and above)
The ball used in the Green stage has a higher compression than the Red and Orange stages (75% of a yellow tennis ball) and children play on a full-size court.
